Corrosion And Metalworking Fluids

By definition, corrosion is the partial or complete wearing away, dissolving or softening of any metal substance by chemical action. The term “rust” is often misapplied or misused, as it applies only to iron and steel. The term “corrosion,” however, is all inclusive, in that it not only applies to ferrous metals but also to non-ferrous metals.
